GRAPHIC DESIGNER

WHAT WE NEED: We are seeking a talented, idea-driven graphic designer with 0-3 years of agency experience. Qualified candidates must be independent, problem-solvers, who are not afraid to push the envelope. The lucky designer will work on projects for some of the most well-recognized, yet diverse clients in the market – including Bob Evans, Big Lots, and Nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a range of experience from print, environmental to the digital realm, including web and various social media applications.

WHAT YOU NEED: Weight your portfolio with the things we are seeking. Here’s a hint: Print collateral design, long and short form (basically, postcards to catalogs) and bring the production skills to match; logo and theme development; a keen sense of color; and the ability to articulate your ideas. Must be skilled in CS5 Suite and web experience is a plus....

Last year, LaineGabriel was inspired to create The Tenfold Initiative to honor the dedicated teachers and mentors in our lives. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to pay back the generosity shown by teachers everywhere, and pay it forward – Tenfold. As part of the Tenfold Initiative, we launched our scholarship opportunity  in 2011 and are excited to bring it back in 2012. We also plan to continue inspiring artists of all ages through our mentoring programs and free art courses.

The $1500 Tenfold Initiative Scholarship is available to a high school senior (graduating before July 1, 2012) who is located in the Central Ohio region. Students must be enrolled or accepted at a university, college or art school as a declared major in a visual arts program for the 2012 school year.
